Overview

The nsversion program prints the NovaStar version to standard output, using a format similar to:

5.1.4.8

The nsversion program is run by many scripts to determine the system version. Some programs check the version in order to implement logic specific to a NovaStar version.

Command Line Usage

The command line syntax is:

nsversion

Command line parameters are:

The program does not use any command line parameters.

Examples

To view the version of the core NovaStar system:

nsversion

Output will be similar to:

5.1.4.8
